OVERVIEW

Standing 3952 masl, Jade mountain also known as Yushan is the highest mountain in Taiwan.  It’s located within the Yushan National Park that offers great views of the central mountains making the hike extra spectacular. With its ridges and gorges, one can definitely feel that thrill of adventure on the trails of this mountain. At the summit, one can overlook breathtaking views of the Taiwan Strait and the Pacific Ocean as the Sun rises from the horizon.

This is ideal for those who wish to try high altitude climbing. With its elevation, almost 1000 meters higher than Mt. Apo, this is one the best mountains to experience high altitude climbing.

After the hike, we will have a one day opportunity to explore Taipei! With your Adventure Guides, you will have the option to explore the city or to be able to a day hike to make your Taiwan adventure even more memorable.

Disclaimer: Jade mountain is the only mountain in Taiwan that practices a lottery system. This is a process wherein they raffle out all the reservations and those who are drawn are the ones to be given permits to hike. With our scheduled hike, Weekday, there’s a strong chance for the team to be chosen.
